Have you bought anything from Temu this Christmas? I was looking for something and thought I would see if it was available on Temu and it was. When I clicked on it Temu said I could have it as a gift, along with 5 other free products and all I had to do was choose those free products!
Clicking away I went until I found the 6 free gifts I’d like! But what happened next was even more compelling. I could get them all for free if I just spent $100 on other products!
Wow, what a journey. Before you know it you are scrolling through dozens of pages of the same type of products that you can find on AliExpress and Amazon, only cheaper.
What makes it even more interesting is that you’re spinning wheels and being given offers left, right and centre – and they’re coming from everywhere!

I heard some good things about Temu (as well as the bad stuff about being cheap Chinese rubbish) and it compelled me to continue on – after all there is a lot you can buy for $100 and most of the Christmas shopping is done!
Plus, I wanted to see if I was really going to get those 6 products I wanted for FREE!
The offers kept coming, along with gratitude notifications and loyalty rewards.
If you are looking for different promotion options for your own business you would do well using just one or two of these options! There’s:

- 6 free when you spend $100, etc
Either way you look at it there are people who love Temu and those who despise it but as long as people are buying Christmas presents because they feel they have to we’ll have consumption.
And in times like these where we’re all feeling the pinch financially and timewise businesses like Temu are a welcome option.
If you even just use Temu as inspiration for some cool presents and gadgets to buy your friends and family at Christmas time you could always then go and spend more money buying them from a retail shop if that feels safer.
At least you’re helping to pay for someone’s wages and rent 😉
